5 Ways To Use The Law Of Attraction In Long-Distance Relationships


Being in a long-distance relationship is increasingly common—perhaps in part because of increasing willingness to travel for work and in part because all of our technological advances make it easier to maintain a relationship without as much in-person contact.
Nevertheless, being apart from your beloved definitely comes with plenty of challenges, and creative thinking is required to maintain that crucial spark. Here are five ways to use the Law of Attraction as a tool to help you stay close to your partner across the miles.
1. Make A Relationship Dream Board

As you probably know, dream boards are visual representation of your aims and goals. As a result, you can use them to illustrate your hopes for your relationship. A cork board is ideal, allowing you to use pins to attach items.
Choose magazine cutouts that represent the love you want to maintain, put up inspirational quotes related to successful long-distance relationships, and feel free to add your own artwork or photographs as well.
Place the board in a prominent location, and look at it often. You can also work with your partner to create two of these boards—one for each of you.
2. Create Positive Lists
When you’re fighting fears about relationship success or sadness related to feelings of loneliness, Law of Attraction advocates would suggest that you try to tackle this underlying negativity.
One way to do this is to make a list of ten things that you like most about your relationship, or ten of your happiest memories of times spent with your partner. You might also write down ten of your most positive beliefs about your relationship (e.g. that you’re always honest with each other and that you work hard to show appreciation).
These lists, like your dream board, can be placed somewhere where they’re easily seen, or they could be kept in your wallet or briefcase to look at whenever you need a reminder that bolsters feelings of hope.
3. Design Relationship Affirmations
Ideal affirmations for long-distance relationships include “we may be apart, but our hearts are as one” and “our love is strong and we will be together again soon.” These affirmations can be recited at night before going to bed, or said first thing in the morning to set you up for a positive day.
Consider saying them into the mirror to maximize their impact. If your partner is also open to the idea that the Law of Attraction can be used to shape beliefs and attitudes, you might also consider designing affirmations together (perhaps based around terms of endearment that you like).
4. Practice Creative Visualizations Of Love
If you’ve been using the Law of Attraction for a while now, you’re likely well-versed in the art of using creative visualizations to build up a detailed image of your ideal life. You can easily turn this technique towards your relationship, focusing on creative visualizations of you and your partner.
You might want to picture what life will be like when you can finally live together (down to all the sights and sounds of a shared home), or you might want to recreate an image of one of your most loving moments—perhaps an airport reunion or a first kiss.
Once again, all the better if you can share this idea with your partner, encouraging them to visualize as well. It can be especially romantic to agree on a time of day when you’ll both be inhabiting the same creative visualization.
5. Hold Onto Objects That Represent Your Love
Any item that you associate with positive memories and feelings about your relationship can be used to help you stay optimistic and happy about your love. Handwritten letters, favorite mementos from vacations, plane tickets and meaningful pieces of jewelry are all great examples.
Think of the best ways to use these to keep you feeling continuously in tune with your best thoughts and convictions about the relationship.
Whether you sleep with a special stone under your pillow, wear an engraved necklace every day or like to hold onto a photograph while you do your creative visualizations, you’re doing something concrete to keep yourself feeling connected with your partner.


HOW TO USE THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

The law of attraction states that every positive or negative event that happened with you was attracted by you. Say that a special friend loaned you money when you didn't have any. You attracted that, even without your awareness of using the law. Say that teacher, classmate, client, or co-worker gave you a hard time during the day. You attracted that, too. Again, we are using the law every second of every day. You've even attracted reading this article! There are really only three basic steps: ask, believe, and receive. However, the point of this article is to break those three steps down into actions that you can do.

STEPS:

1) Relax your mind. Meditate for 5 to 10 minutes. Doing this will increase brain power and have your mind at that relaxed state. This step is optional but recommended.

Be sure about what you want and when you do decide don't doubt yourself.Remember that you're sending a request to the Universe which is created by thoughts and therefore responds to thoughts. Know exactly what it is that you want. If you're not clear/sure, the Universe will get an unclear frequency and will send you unwanted results. So be sure it is something you have strong enthusiasm for.

3) Ask the Universe for it. Make your request. Send a picture of what you want to the Universe. The Universe will answer. See this thing as already yours. See How to Visualize. The more detailed your vision, the better. If you're wanting that Nintendo Wii, see yourself sitting down playing a game on it. See yourself feeling the controller, playing your favorite game(s), touching the console. If there's that person you have a crush on, see yourself walking with them, touching or caressing the person, or even kissing the person. You get the idea.

4) Write your wish down. Start with "I am so happy and grateful now that..." and finish the sentence (or paragraph) telling the Universe what it is that you want. Write it in the present tense as if you have it right now. Avoid negation terms (see Warnings for more on this). Every day until your wish comes true, close your eyes and imagine your desire as if it's happening right now.
5) Feel it. Feel the way you will now after receiving your wish. You must act, speak, and think as if you are receiving it now. This is actually the most important, powerful step in using the Law of Attraction because this is where it starts working, and sometimes if you do this you don't feel like you need it anymore because you feel like you already have it!  Therefor, the universe will manifest this thought and feeling and you will receive it.

  1. 6) Show gratitude. Write down all the things the Universe has given you. Be thankful for what you already have and be thankful for all the things the Universe has given you. The Universe has done a lot of things for us. Paying the Universe back with some gratitude will motivate the Universe to do even more things and will draw more things into your life. If you were once bullied and that person stopped, that's one thing to be thankful for. If the person you're crushing on likes you back, or doesn't but they didn't send their lover out to hurt you, that's another thing to thank the Universe for. You should also thank the Universe for this process too. Showing gratitude will turbo boost the Universe to manifest your request faster.

    Trust the Universe. Imagine an alternate dimension that is almost exactly like the real world but whatever you truly desire comes true in an instant. See yourself in that dimension, where whatever you ask the Universe for comes to you in an instant. Don't look for what you asked for; this is where people tend to mess up. If you have to keep an eye out for an event that manifests your wish, it's only telling the Universe you don't have it and you will attract...not having it. Be patient. Don't get upset if these things don't happen immediately. Don't stress the "how" of things. Let the Universe do it for you. When you take the Universe's job of worrying about the "how", this says you're lacking faith and that you're telling the Universe what to do when the Universe has far greater knowledge and power than human mankind.
